We all deserve to have a roof over our heads. The housing crisis continues getting worse. If this is not resolved, the younger working generations have no chance at owning a home. We are working as a team to spread awareness on this issue.
Mayumi Kanashiro
Peruvian native and a Florida International University student majoring in Digital TV & Multimedia Production, minoring in Sociology. She is passionate about giving a voice to marginalized communities. Through volunteer work with different non-profits, she has learnt to advocate for immigrant rights. After graduation, she plans to work as a communications strategist for nonprofit organizations. It is her dream to make a documentary about the wealth disparity in Peru.
Grecia Pacheco
Born in Venezuela, Grecia Pacheco is a senior majoring in digital journalism. Passionate about the truth and news reporting, her career pathway is orientated to politics and international relations based on her goal to keep people informed about the importance of democracy and its impact on modern society.
Danette Heredia
Danette Heredia a student at FIU studying Digital Communications + Media. Working at PantherNOW inspired her to combine her passions for her South Florida community and writing to give voices to student and their experiences. She aims to be apart of a dedicated team of journalist as a writer and researcher, committed to her goal of informing the public with empathy and logic.
